About Rose Martersteck

Rose combines national health system experience with hands-on hospital operations to help healthcare organizations achieve sustainable, measurable results.

Rose brings over nine years of experience leading supply chain and business operations for health systems, from hospital settings to national medical supply programs. Her career began in global health, managing multimillion-dollar procurement budgets and developing optimized distribution models for thousands of health facilities. Rose expanded her health care experience in a perioperative settingestablishing value analysis and service contract management while implementing financial and revenue cycle initiativesWhat Rose enjoys most is looking upstream: identifying the factors behind operational problems, then bringing stakeholders together across an organization to solve them sustainably in service of excellent patient care.  

Background

Rose earned her B.S. in Health Science summa cum laude from Northeastern University in Boston. She went on to receive her MBA & MPP with Honors from Quantic School of Business and Technology and the London School of Economics and Political Science (respectively). After college, Rose moved abroad, consulting for Ministries of Health managing national supply chain systems across Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining Pathstone, Rose managed perioperative business operations for a hospital in Colorado. In her free time, she loves picking up new languages and seeking out the local Latin dance scene in each city she visits.
