About Joseph Jang

Joseph has two decades of experience leading performance improvement, non-labor cost reduction and transformation engagements for healthcare providers, including large integrated delivery networks, academic medical centers, and pediatric hospitals.

Joseph has led assessments and performance improvement engagements for 45+ healthcare systems, delivering $700M+ in margin improvement impact through revenue enhancement and non-labor cost reduction initiatives in purchased services, information technology, telecom, pharmacy, laboratory and clinical supplies and services. He has a deep passion for enhancing the quality, affordability, and accessibility of healthcare by designing repeatable, sustainable, and scalable solutions that enable organizations to sustain impact over the long-term.

Background

Joseph holds an MBA with distinction, from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He also earned a BBA, with honors, from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Joseph was born and raised in Manila, Philippines and is a father to three beautiful children. Joseph currently serves as the President of the MAHRMM board that focuses on elevating healthcare supply chain’s impact in the state of Michigan. He is also a frequent speaker for National AHRMM, MAHRMM, and the IDN Summit.

Outside of work, Joseph advises and supports Sorok Uni Foundation, an organization that provides economic empowerment to the leper community and the homeless in the Philippines.  You can also find Joseph cheering for Michigan Football and Basketball, serving his church and local community, singing, and writing his own music.
