About Tim Grubb

Tim brings a range of healthcare industry expertise and is the founder of Ratio Health Solutions, a connector firm which leads business development for a number of privately held firms.

Tim brings a range of healthcare industry expertise focused on finance and strategy. After a decade of accounting and finance in other industries, Tim began his healthcare career with Cambio Health Solutions. Cambio was acquired in 2005 by FTI Consulting (NYSE:FCN), a global business advisory firm with whom he worked on a range of turnaround, bankruptcy, litigation support, M&A and related performance improvement projects, including interim management.

Tim left FTI after six years to complete an MBA; he later returned to FTI as a Managing Director from 2017 -2020. In between his two seasons with FTI, he was the VP of Operations for onFocus Healthcare, a Software as a Service (SaaS) firm acquired by MedeAnalytics in 2014. In 2021 Tim started Ratio Health Solutions, a connector firm which leads business development for a number of privately held, best-in-class firms who provide high-impact margin and quality improvement solutions for health systems and the communities that they serve.

Background

Tim and his wife Daiva have four children, and they live in Nashville, Tennessee. Tim is a member of and a leader in a number of healthcare professional associations and a past-president of the Brentwood (TN) Early Risers Toastmasters club. Early in the pandemic he accepted a habit-stacking challenge to listen to an audiobook every week. If you like to talk books, let him know what you are reading. A graduate of Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management with an MBA in Finance and Strategy, Tim previously completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Aquinas College.
