John supports performance improvement and non-labor cost reduction engagements for health systems. His background in computer science and part-time consulting provides him with a unique blend of critical thinking and communication skills. He joined Pathstone for the opportunity to contribute to the financial and operational growth of our clients.

Background

John graduated from Hope College with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, studying Accounting when scheduling allowed. He spent time researching machine learning and interning as a software developer before transitioning to join a part-time school sponsored consulting team his senior year. After graduation he moved to Chicago to join Pathstone. Outside of work John is a passionate rock climber. When not working on a difficult boulder problem, he can be found reading his current fantasy novel or cooking dinner.
