Bonnie Welch has 30 years of experience in healthcare IT, with deep experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
Bonnie’s career in healthcare began as a Network Administrator. Being respected for her intuitive business sense and solutions focus, she was promoted into a leadership role in a short timeframe. During her healthcare tenure, she has led IT teams in diverse environments including a small rural hospital, a medium sized hospital, a multi-institutional health system, and a large academic medical center. She has extensive experience with vendor management and contract negotiations. Bonnie is passionate about ensuring relationships with vendors are built on trust, collaboration, and open communications. She has a reputation as a fair, but strong contract negotiator.
Background
Bonnie earned a BS in Business Management from Houghton University and MBA of Healthcare Administration with a minor in Contract Management from Bellevue University. She lives in Charleston, South Carolina. Outside of work, Bonnie enjoys traveling, playing American Mah Jongg, water aerobics, riding her bicycle on the beach, and spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
