About Evan Katzman
Evan Katzman has over three decades of IT leadership and consulting experience working with some of the world’s leading clinical application, telecom and technology providers, including Co-Founding Optisave, LLC, an IT optimization firm serving hospitals and health systems nationwide for 25 years.
Evan’s unique set of skills and technical engineering expertise offer clients the capability to create, design and implement more sustainable, efficient, compliant, and cost effective, strategic IT sourcing solutions, while improving patient outcomes, satisfaction, and care quality. He is passionate about using his experience, data analysis, and industry benchmarks, working as a trusted advisor, and in partnership with clients, to optimize savings and efficiency. Evan has worked on over 500+ healthcare IT engagements in faith-based, academic, children’s, and public health organizations, in addition to sharing his IT services and process improvement expertise across other industries including banking/financial services, and manufacturing. Evan is known for his insightful analysis, being a quick study, and thinking outside the box.
Background
As a Co-Founder and Managing Director, Optisave, LLC, and at Huron Consulting Group, Optisave identified $1Billion of combined savings for organizations nationwide, including 8 of the top 20 Top US News & World Report Hospitals, with a 4-5x ROI. He served as a Vice President at Arbros Communications, a telecommunications startup, and Senior Manager, Pre-Sales Technical Engineer and Product Manager at MCI Telecommunications, winning the President’s Club Award. Evan has a BBA and an MBA from The George Washington University and is a Member of the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS). Evan is based near Washington, DC. His hobbies include kayaking, following the latest automobiles, and – ever the problem solver, home improvement. There is nothing Evan can’t fix!
